How I Resolve Groin Pain in 3 Steps

Our own Conor Nordengren, PT, DPT, CSCS, was featured on Boston Hernia's blog earlier this month. Boston Hernia is a group of physicians and physician assistants that specialize in treating inguinal and umbilical hernias. They have a truly exceptional team and are one of our trusted partners.

In his article, Conor discusses his 3-step process for treating groin pain, a common symptom of a hernia.

Client Shout-Out: Tim Jones

From Setback to Success: PTP Client’s Inspiring NYC Marathon Triumph

We're thrilled to share some exciting news that will undoubtedly inspire and motivate us all! Our client, Tim Jones, crossed the finish line of the New York City Marathon, proving that with determination, grit (and some progressive rehab of course!), incredible physical feats are possible.

We met Tim with just a few weeks to go until race day. When he reached out to us, he was sidelined with a calf strain. We guided Tim through a plan to regain a grip on his training, ultimately leading to a very successful outing on marathon day.

26.2 Miles of Triumph

Imagine the energy, the endurance, and the sheer willpower it takes to conquer the iconic NYC Marathon. Tim started out aware of his nagging calf, especially while taking on a respectable hill early in the course. He eventually hit his stride and not only accepted the challenge but excelled, describing it as a “Top 10 Life Moment.” Did anyone else just get goosebumps?

Please join us in applauding Tim’s achievement. We wish him luck and success as he begins his triathlon journey, with his sights set on a Half Ironman in 2024!
