Pricing & insurance

Transparent, out-of-network, worth it.

We're a fee-for-service practice by design, because it's the only model that allows full-session, one-on-one care from a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Here's exactly how it works.

How paying for care works

  1. Free 15-minute fit call

Before any commitment: a senior clinician hears your situation and tells you honestly whether we're the right fit, and where to go if we're not.

  2. Fee for service, per session

You pay directly, per visit. No surprise bills, no claim denials, no visit caps decided by an insurer. HSA and FSA funds typically apply.

  3. Super Bill for reimbursement

Some PPO plans reimburse a substantial portion of out-of-network physical therapy after any deductible, though coverage varies widely by plan. We provide a Super Bill to submit after each visit.

Find out what your plan actually covers

Five minutes on the phone settles it. Call the member-services number on the back of your insurance card and ask these five questions:

  1. Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient physical therapy?

  2. What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it have I met this year?

  3. Once the deductible is met, what percentage of the allowed amount do you reimburse?

  4. Is there a visit limit or preauthorization requirement?

  5. How do I submit a Super Bill, and how long does reimbursement take?

Bring the answers to your fit call and we'll tell you what they mean in practice, including whether self-pay without submitting is simpler for your situation.

Why we don't take insurance

The in-network model doesn't allow the individual attention and detailed treatment our Doctors of Physical Therapy provide. In-network clinics commonly see multiple patients per hour with aide-assisted sessions; reimbursement pressure decides your care plan. Here, you get the full session, one-on-one, every time, and your goals decide the plan.

What a session includes

  • A full session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, never an aide
  • Hands-on manual therapy and corrective exercise, dosed to your evaluation
  • An individualized home program that progresses between visits
  • Direct scheduling flexibility, with frequency based on need, not a template
Session rates: discussed on your fit call. They vary by service and plan length. No referral is needed to start: Massachusetts direct access lets you book directly.
