Shawn Sprague
PT, DPT, OCS · Founder
Shawn received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2010) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2013) from the University of Rhode Island, then completed a year-long residency at the renowned Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2014, emphasizing hands-on spine and orthopedic care. He earned his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification through the APTA, is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and is a Functional Range Mobility Specialist (FRCms).
Shawn has taught in the Physical Therapy department at Simmons University as an Adjunct Professor since 2015, in topics related to orthopedic manual therapy. His areas of specialty include orthopedic rehabilitation pre- and post-op, sports injuries, and treatment of the spine using hands-on soft-tissue and joint mobilization techniques.
As a practicing physical therapist, performance and mobility specialist, and avid sports enthusiast, Shawn understands the importance of ease of movement. His goal is to blend the major components of physical therapy, personal training, performance coaching, and mobility to target the entire person. Together with each client he creates a path for restoring optimal function, listening and using an effective method to reach every client's goals as safely and quickly as possible.
